Mon séjour de l'année dernière a été si merveilleux que je suis revenu pour une autre semaine cette année — et l'expérience a été tellement exceptionnelle que je prévois déjà ma venue pour l'année prochaine. Merci, Delphine et Jeff, pour tout ce que vous faites pour faire de la Maison Cistus un lieu aussi formidable.

It was truly an exceptional experience to stay at Maison Cistus. The property itself is in a beautiful and peaceful setting in nature and Delphine and Jeff have exquisitely combined the charm of the existing stone buildings with warm and modern interiors. It is obvious that every piece and accessory have been chosen with care and thought for the guests' comfort and sensibility. Delphine and Jeff could not have been more welcoming and attentive to our needs. Breakfast is served in the ground floor of the central building with delicious homemade baked goods, fruit, made to order eggs, and individually prepared coffee and tea. Walks in the property for contemplation or private meditation are an experience not to miss. We were a group of four, and we stayed in the independent cottage, La Canopée, which has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen (which we did not use), a large communal space and an outdoor patio with a view of the property. We had a car and spent two full days exploring the surrounding area, and we wished we had more time to see more. And Maison Cistus is just minutes away from Sarlat and many restaurants. It was difficult to leave. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Une vraie parenthèse : calme, tranquillité, sérénité, accueil chaleureux, un site magnifique et un gîte confortable. Une adresse à conserver pour y revenir.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez maison Cistus! C’était une parenthèse enchantée. Le lieu est magnifique, Jeff et Delphine sont accueillants, chaleureux et très prévenants. Les suites sont superbes . Nous reviendrons

Maison Cistus is a dream. Delphine and Jeff were the most kind and helpful hosts we could have imagined. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Notre séjour a été des plis agréable, cette bulle de sérénité au coeur de la nature nous a fais le plus grand bien. C'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain week end dans le Périgord

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft schön, herrlich ruhig und entspannend. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und liebevoll zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind unglaublich sympathisch und komfortabel. Es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt einen Parkplatz und einen tollen Pool. Aber man braucht ein Auto um die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem erkunden zu können.

The absolute beauty, 100% attention to detail, location close to everything but not, the quiet privacy of Cistus feels as if you have stepped away and bathed in sophisticated natural splendor. The room, the bromine pool, the breakfast, the hospitality; all if it make for a super special stay. ,
