The garden is full of a variety of majestic trees and vegetation rich in aromatic and medicinal plants. Let yourself be enchanted by this enchanting and superb setting offered to you in our guest house surrounded by nature in the Périgord Noir. The numerous terraces and nooks and crannies in the shade, the swimming pool and its solarium, are all spaces conducive to relaxation and letting go. At Maison Cistus, if time has not stopped, it flows slowly like the water from the spring that bathes its garden...
The community garden
Upon our arrival, this large space housed two enormous greenhouses, which we wanted to donate to a unique association in France that welcomes asylum seekers and trains them in organic farming. To continue in keeping with these values of sharing, solidarity, and generosity, we created a large community garden where everyone is welcome to pick delicious, organic fruits and vegetables, grown with love and bursting with health. What could be better than a salad freshly picked with its roots still covered in soil, delicious, delicately sweet raspberries, or young herb leaves softened by the gentle rain? Because nature knows how to share and give better than anyone, the garden will be open to all our guests throughout their stay...
