A small road winding languidly through the heart of lush countryside, a small, typically Périgord hamlet gently revealing itself, and here you are, finally arrived at our home, Maison Cistus, our haven of peace in the heart of the Périgord Noir, just a few kilometers from Sarlat. After many years of a busy Parisian life, we decided to change our lives and embrace a slower pace of life in the countryside. It is in a setting reflecting the colors of the Dordogne that we welcome you to our home, with open hearts. Incredible synchronicities, which we will be delighted to share with you, led us here, and for the past few years, we have been breathing new life into this poetic and inspiring place. Maison Cistus features two spacious terrace suites with refined amenities, perfect for a solo or couple's stay, and a luxurious, independent cottage for 2 to 4 people with its covered terrace overlooking our Garden Paradise. You will love having breakfast in our tobacco drying barn or, on sunny days, on the furnished terrace overlooking the 2.5 hectares of natural surroundings, taking a dip in the heated pool, playing a game of pétanque near the vegetable garden, or browsing for a treasure in our small antique shop. Everything here exudes a gentle way of life, and we look forward to sharing the soul of the Périgord Noir with you.

Swimming in happiness

In the heart of the hamlet, in a peaceful and secluded setting, you can enjoy a heated, salt-water swimming pool from May to October, complete with a wooden deck for relaxing amidst nature.

This invitation to unwind at our charming guesthouse doesn't end there, as you can also enjoy relaxing massages or yoga and meditation sessions. Sounds like a lovely program, doesn't it?

Imagine a relaxing stroll hand in hand through the Garden Paradise, a sunrise meditation on your private terrace, a forest bath to reconnect with what truly matters, a deer watching you in the distance, and nature stretching as far as the eye can see, inviting you to let go.

Upon reservation, you can also enjoy a massage and/or a yoga or meditation session.
